DMICRO-MEDICAL AG is a family business, founded by the families Samis and Andreas Hofmann from Klingnau (CH) and Elisabeth and Horst Bruckmoser from Senftenberg, Germany. Our home is in the charming town of Klingnau in Aargau.

Frequently asked questions
I already use skin replacement procedures from other manufacturers, such as Kerecis, Apligraf or NuShield. Why should I use Endoform or Myriad instead?

Basically, all skin replacement procedures do what they are supposed to do. This also applies to split skin, for example. Endoform can do no more, but also no less, and represents an extremely cost-effective alternative to the aforementioned procedures for healing superficial and medium-depth wounds. This has been proven in over 7 million cases. Myriad, on the other hand, is uniquely suited to the treatment of deep soft tissue defects. The AROA ECM is rich in biology and very simple, effective and economical to use. It is best to gain your own experience with our products, which will lead you to the right answer to your question, so book an appointment with us now.

Aren't more expensive skin replacement procedures automatically better?

There is no evidence that the more expensive products are "better" than the AROA ECM. There is certainly the most suitable product for every application, but it is currently not possible to tell from the literature which one it is. It is therefore best to make your own experiences and ideally start with the matrix, which is up to 50% or more cheaper than comparable products. You have nothing to lose, but you have already gained something.

Can I code the use of Endoform and Myriad in the DRG?
Yes, we have developed a coding guide for this, which you can obtain from our sales force. The use of Aroa EMC makes sense for inpatients in any case, as a positive effect on wound healing, an improved revenue situation and savings in treatment costs can be expected.
Can I bill Endoform and Myriad as an outpatient via TARMED?

Why are the products not explicitly mentioned in the guideline for the use of skin replacement procedures?

Endoform and Myriad are new to the Swiss market - but not new to the world. In 13 years, the matrix has been used over 7 million times, more than any comparable matrix. The indication is based on the guidelines. We can expect an explicit mention of this soon. Can I combine AROA ECM with vacuum therapy?

Definitely! Endoform and Myriad are the "best friends" of vacuum therapy. Many users even use Endoform as a "booster" for VAC therapy. This often results in significantly shorter treatment periods. This is in the interests of the patient and reduces the burden on the healthcare system.

I would like to gain my own experience with Endoform and Myriad. What is the best way to proceed?

You don't need to pay much attention and have no lead time. You can store Endoform and Myriad in a dry place for up to three years. The products are also very easy to use - probably easier than any skin replacement procedure you have ever used before. Put us to the test now!

That's right! The problems can be very complex and multi-layered. That is why we are committed to consistently assessing the cause and status of the wound and treating the cause before using our products.
